Privacy Policy

Private Vault stores the photos and videos you choose to add, together with the minimum account and subscription information needed to provide your private vault.
WHAT WE COLLECT
- Email address and account identifier for sign-in.
- Photos and videos you choose to upload, plus file type, upload date, size, duration, thumbnail, and folder assignment where applicable.
- Subscription status supplied by the app store on your device through RevenueCat.
HOW MEDIA IS HANDLED
Your uploaded media is stored in a private cloud bucket. It is not public and is delivered to your signed-in app with time-limited private links. Private Vault is not an end-to-end encrypted service. We do not sell your personal information, use your media for advertising, or train artificial-intelligence models on it.
SERVICE PROVIDERS
We use Supabase for authentication and private storage, and RevenueCat to process subscription status. Purchases are processed by the app store on your device, not by Private Vault.
DEVICE ACCESS
Private Vault requests access only when you choose media to import or choose to save an item back to your device library. You control this permission in your device settings.
RETENTION AND DELETION
Your media remains in your vault until you delete it or delete your account. You can delete individual items in the app. To permanently delete your account, folders, photos, and videos, open Settings and select “Delete this vault and its media.”
